Choose the Best Printing Company

May 28th, 2009 6:32 am

Today there are a lot of printing companies, but not all of them would be able to satisfy your present marketing needs. In fact, there are a number of them that cannot produce satisfactory results. To make sure that you get to choose only the best among them, take note of these tips:

1. Always ask for recommendations. Normally, you want to rely on the years of experience of the company. The longer they have been in the business, the better. However, you should also ensure that they have been in business because clients adore them-they are loyal to their services. Thus, when you’re looking for printing company for your outdoor advertising, for example, ask for recommendations from friends, especially other businesspersons. If they have a website, see to it that they have a testimonial page, and you can have a way to verify the feedback straight from the client.

2. Go for those that can give you samples of their work. A printing company may provide you with almost-unending list of their products and services, but that is not really what you should be after. You must settle for portfolios, and make sure these are photos and descriptions of actual projects. In fact, inquire if they have existing ones, so you can check their work yourself and decide if they are capable of doing the job for you.

3. Opt for the ones that can provide you with plenty of options. The many alternatives the better. This way, it will be more convenient for you to combine the different methods of outdoor advertising. Some of the options that you can go for include vinyl signage, fence wrapping, building wrapping, banners, and billboards.

4. It should act as a partner. Whether you like it or not, there are some printing companies that don’t provide their clients with as much freedom as they should have. Their role must be to make your concept come true. They can provide you with pieces of advice, but they should in no way change the design without your permission. You also need to look for one that is very easy to reach. You don’t want a printing company that takes a couple of days before they can send you feedback about the project.

When you’re looking for a printing company, don’t just settle for one alternative. You can gather as many as 5, ask for possible proposals or portfolio, and spend considerable time in choosing the printing company for your business. You can make use of the Yellow pages and the Internet to gather printing companies.

How To Maintenane And Repair Your Pressure Washers

April 28th, 2009 2:45 am

There are a few things you should know to makechange out or repair the pump. You may also need to study up on preventative maintenance so that you do not have to worry about pump failure. Your pressure washer probably has one of two different pumps if it is industrial grade. Either a Cat Pump or a General pump; both are industry standards. General is the leader in the industry for sales and many prefer Cat as it sucs better from plastic water tanks.

Your pump is powered by two parallel belts connected to your engine. You should make sure not to starve your pump from water. When the water tank is empty turn off the engine. Starving a pump will burn it out in about thirty-five minutes. The manufacturer says five to ten minutes, but thats not life threatening. Your pump has a safety feature whereby when you are not spraying the water, it will automatically by pass into the tank provided there is enough water for the complete loop.

You should change the oil in the pump every month. Make sure your pressure washer rig is on level ground and fill the pump to the red dot on the center of the eyeglass. Over filling is a really bad idea. On your pump you will notice six large bolts. Inside of the holes are check valves with springs. After 300-500 hours you should change them. You can do this yourself. The valve kits are $60.000. Its very easy: Unscrew bolts Remove old valve Replace valve Make sure to seat the valve evenly Screw the bolt back in by hand Make sure the O-ring on the bolt is snug Tighten with wrench pretty tight Inspecting The Pump If you drain the oil and its got bubbles in it or has turned white, then you have a blown seal and water is getting into the oil because: It overheated due to water starvation; The casing cracked because of vibration; You forgot to change the oil, dummy ($600 mistake and one lost days work if you can get the parts that fast). Check to see if the belts are tight. If not tighten them. Look for water drips.

A slow drip on the exit side of the pump could cost you as much as 150 PSI at the nozzle. A fast drip (two to three drops per second) could be a 250-300 PSI loss at the nozzle. A steady drip stream might be a 500 plus PSI loss. When you see water leaking, fix the leak ASAP.

Wedding Day Jewelry – Choosing the Perfect Jewelry

April 24th, 2009 3:40 am

There are no hard and fast rules for selecting wedding day jewelry. The jewelry should only match the theme or motif of the wedding. You can use your wedding’s theme to narrow down your wedding day jewelry choices. You may choose a classic or modern style of jewelry depending on your wedding theme. However, there must be a balance between the wedding gown and the jewelry so that the bride’s appearance will stand out. For example, an intricately designed diamond necklace or choker is great with a strapless wedding dress, which has a plain neckline. You can go for big and colored gemstones if you’re going to wear a simple wedding dress. On the other hand, if your dress has an elaborate style, then it’d be better to wear diamond earrings instead of a necklace.

The wedding’s color theme can also be considered when choosing wedding day jewelry. The most frequently used jewelry colors are pastel or white to complement traditional wedding gowns. Some brides opt to add colors by matching their gowns with blue sapphires and pink or yellow diamonds. The bride can wear ruby drop earrings or an emerald necklace that can go together with a neutral-colored theme. The color of your jewelry depends on your preference, whether you want to stick to the conventional or to be a little experimental. Just make sure that your jewelry won’t look too eccentric for a wedding ceremony.

It’s easy to shop for the perfect wedding day jewelry that will accessorize the bridal gown. The wedding theme, as well as the bride’s personal taste, can be considered when choosing the right jewelry.
